Guided meditation

£5.00

The aftermath of a separation can throw up a huge amount of emotional baggage.  As well as grieving the loss of your relationship you are also adjusting to the thought of a life that is not the one you had envisaged.  This can throw up all kinds of fears around money, being alone, how it might affect your children and these are often the biggest cause of the stress and anxiety relating to divorce.  You may feel overwhelmed by your emotions and worried by this as it impacts on your ability to parent in the way you would to, and how effective you are being at work or in other areas of your life.

It’s essential you look after yourself at this time and visit your GP if you think you are not finding it easy to cope.  Divorce and separation are one of the most stressful life events anybody can go through and it would be understandable if you were not OK at this time.  Your GP is best placed to explain what extra support might be able to help you.

You may find our blog about looking after yourself in a separation helpful.

This guided meditation is less than 10 minutes and is designed to support you in finding a little extra calm at this difficult time.  Doing at as often as you can may help assist you in feeling calmer and less stressed.  It is not a substitute for seeking medical attention if you feel that you are finding things difficult or worried about your own well being or behaviour.
